Enjoy a selection of delicious sandwiches, cut to mouth-watering perfection. Then there are our freshly-baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve along with a range of exquisite pastries and cakes – each one dainty enough to eat in one delicious mouthful.

From April to October, the afternoon tea we serve will give a nod to the acclaimed writer Jane Austen, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of her birth.

Opening hours

Afternoon teas, including a dedicated Children’s Afternoon Tea, are served daily between 12.30pm and 4pm in our bar, restaurant and on the terrace or in our glorious gardens.

Afternoon tea - £45 per person

Children's tea - £23.50 per child

There's always the option of adding some sparkle to the occasion with a flute or flight of Taittinger Champagne.

While we do advise you book in advance to avoid disappointment, you're very welcome to drop in for a bite and we'll do our best to offer you a table.
