Bring the little ones
Family Friendly
Planning a family trip to Bath? We welcome guests of all ages, and our friendly, welcoming team are on hand to make everyone's well looked after throughout your trip.
Children love our special kids' amenities - our housekeeper Dorota provides special toiletries for toddlers, plus treats, teddies, and books for the under-12s.
We also have a dedicated children’s afternoon tea and dining menu, plus lawn games for little ones to enjoy in our magical acre of private gardens.
There are even rescue hedgehogs living in our grounds! Children love to discover their special feeding stations, so tell your little nature lovers to keep their eyes peeled for empty snail shells and other signs of hedgehogs passing through!
Hotel Rooms
We have interconnecting rooms available, but if you’d prefer to stay in one room then our Heritage rooms or Suites can accommodate cots, extra beds or sofa beds.
We can provide cots for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, bathrobes and high chairs at no additional charge.
Extra beds for children from 3 years up to 11 years old have a charge of £50 per child, per night.
Older children from 12 to 16 years old can be accommodated on a sofa bed in our Junior Suites and Deluxe Suites, charged at £150 per child, per night. No extra beds are available in our Heritage bedrooms.
Ages 17 and above are considered adults and will be treated accordingly.
We are delighted to make special arrangements for room fridges for storing children’s drinks, food and medicine. Just let us know in advance.
With your permission, we can also put a toy basket in your room.
Restaurant
Our Executive Head Chef Martin Blake has designed a healthy, child-friendly menu for the restaurant. And if there is a favourite meal that’s required – just ask!
From 6pm, Children 15 years and above may enjoy dinner in the main restaurant. Children under 15 years old may enjoy dinner in the Garden Rooms or Bar Area.
The Spa
Children 15 years and under may use the pool during school holidays only (please check applicable dates) between 9am to 10am and 4pm to 5pm daily subject to availability.
Outside of these times, The Spa & Bath House is for our adult guests, members and children aged 16 and over.
Due to limited capacity, it will be essential that child places are booked in advance, subject to availability on a first come, first served basis with our spa reception team.
Hotel Babysitting Service
We work closely with Norland Nannies, whose student nannies can babysit your children while you are out at dinner, on an adults-only activity, or at an event.
These highly recommended nannies can come to your room to babysit, or even come along to an event with you - a perfect option for weddings where you want your children to be present but closely attended to throughout.
Ask our reservations team for further details.
